Momentum × Quality — built for NSE

Ride the trend.
Trust the numbers.

Stage 2 breakouts and relative-strength leaders tell you when. Forensic quality checks — cash flow vs profit, pledging, promoter behaviour — tell you what deserves your money. AlphaStage is the first Indian stock platform that ships both, with every claim sourced and dated.

The method

Sector → Stock → Timing → Proof

Most tools stop at timing. We added the step that separates a trade from a blow-up.

01 · Sector

Follow the rotation

Institutional money moves sector-first. Week-over-week relative-strength movers and an RRG-style rotation map show which industries are entering leadership — before individual charts make it obvious.

02 · Stock

Rank by relative strength

IBD-style RS percentiles (0–100, quarterly-weighted) across the full NSE universe — versus the market and versus the stock's own sector. Leaders score 80+. Everything else is noise.

03 · Timing

Enter in Stage 2 only

Weinstein stage classification on weekly charts: price above a rising 30-week MA, breakout from a base on ≥2× volume, rising RS line. Only a small minority of stocks qualify at any time — that scarcity is the point.

04 · Proof — ours alone

Forensic quality gate

Before a stock earns a PASS: 5-year cash-flow-vs-profit, pledging, promoter buying/selling, working-capital trends, PE vs its own history, auditor & SEBI red-flag sweep. A beautiful P&L with 46% cash conversion is a trap — this layer catches it.

Why AlphaStage exists

Screeners are everywhere.
Verification isn't.

Free tools can list "Stage 2 stocks". Paid tools can rank momentum. What nobody ships is the audit: is the profit cash-backed? Is the promoter pledging while selling? Did the multiple re-rate above its own decade band? We publish the checks, the sources and the dates — so you can re-verify every line.

FAQ

What is Stage 2 analysis?

Stan Weinstein's framework classifies every stock into four stages: basing (1), advancing (2), topping (3) and declining (4), using weekly charts and the 30-week moving average. The rule is brutal and simple — only buy Stage 2, and exit when Stage 3 behaviour appears. The full rules are on our Learn page, free.

How is this different from free screeners like Chartink or screener.in?

Free tools can list momentum candidates. They don't tell you the company's operating cash flow ran at 46% of reported profit for five years, or that the promoter pledged 11% of the company the same month they sold ₹1,000 Cr of stock. Our quality layer does — with sources and dates you can check yourself.

Is this investment advice?

No. AlphaStage is a data and research tool. It is not SEBI-registered and does not give buy/sell recommendations. Verdicts like PASS or FAIL describe data quality against a published checklist — what you do with them is your decision.

Where does the data come from?

Exchange end-of-day prices, company filings, screener.in consolidated financials and primary-source news — each table states its snapshot date, and forensic claims link to the filing or article they came from. If a number has no source, we don't publish it.

Do you have 1,000+ happy users and a 4.8★ rating?

No — and we won't claim numbers we can't show you. This platform is new. The methodology pages, the checklists and the sourced verdicts are the proof of work; judge us on those.
